Bus stop revisited

Bus Stop shelter design by Jennifer Rivas
I was looking through some of the student archives from last year and came across the bus stop shelter designs.  One design which never got enough recognition was by Jennifer Rivas.

Jennifer's design reflected upon an idea of having a "seasonal" shelter for people waiting for the bus.  Located somewhere in Manhattan, this upscale design would change periodically throughout the year, a separate design for each season.  Here we see her Winter theme, decked out for the holidays in red and white with snowflakes and a Christmas tree.  The bow denotes the idea of a package or gift, and the snowy reflective texture and curvilinear lines suggest snowbanks and drifting snow.

Great work here Jennifer!  For those of you who'd like to see this in person, stop by Room 352 and see it for yourself.
