People need Architects

Students of the Month Awards

It's not everyday a 10th grader gets to play architect...in fact, I'm not sure it's ever happened before.  During a recent building redesign project, these three students had that chance.  It was THEIR building the class was redesigning.  What was their task?  To keep everyone on track; to keep a log of student progress; to check in with me and clarify any questions.  Basically, they ran the classroom "office" for about a week or so.

These three students received an award for Excellence in Classroom Leadership. Congratulations to Diego Cueva, Mayra Moreno and Sam Pecoraro.  You guys really stepped up and took on a lot of responsibility with this project.  You did it well, and I'm very proud of the results.
